My name is Page Longhurst and I’m one of the new interns at Duo Marketing Group! I have lived in Logan, Utah for my whole life! I love being outside and I am usually found hiking, skiing, boating, or walking my dog. If I’m not outside I’m usually reading or watching a new true-crime TV show. I am currently a sophomore at Utah State University and I am majoring in Marketing with a minor in Psychology. I started to become interested in both marketing and psychology in high school and have gained an even larger interest in both since starting college. Combining marketing and psychology has been really enjoyable and there is surprisingly a lot of overlap between the two. I really love being able to combine the information I learn in my marketing with psychology classes to be able to create the best experience for companies and their customers.
So far, my time at Duo has been very enjoyable and has helped me learn a lot about marketing in the real world. I have spent most of my time learning about how to create effective Facebook ads and I have loved it! Having a strong social media presence for a company is something that is very important today and I have really liked learning about how Facebook can help create that. I’ve also learned that Facebook can be an important tool in driving conversions, therefore, increasing revenue for a business.
I am super excited to continue interning at Duo and learning more about how to help companies build their social media presence and interact with their customers.
